The Witchery is located in an extraordinary 16th-century building, within the city's most prestigious postcode at the gates of Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. This award-winning restaurant is where centuries of history meet candlelit chambers, rich tapestries and dramatic Gothic interiors, creating one of the city's most unforgettable dining experiences.
Your experience begins with a glass of vintage Champagne, followed by a three-course choice menu from The Witchery's renowned selection, showcasing the finest seasonal Scottish produce. Each course is perfectly paired with expertly selected fine wines, chosen by The Witchery's Sommelier to complement every dish, before concluding with tea, coffee and traditional Scottish tablet. During dinner, you'll enjoy a private performance by members of the Tattoo cast.
Following dinner, your dedicated Tattoo host will escort you through the ticket barrier, bypassing the queue, before accompanying you to your VIP seat in The Royal Gallery for our 2027 show, The Same Heart Beat. As the evening unfolds, experience the spectacle from the Tattoo's most exclusive vantage point before continuing the celebrations at an exclusive post-Show drinks and canapé reception within The Royal Gallery with other VIP guests and the Tattoo team and cast.

The Royal Gallery dress code is strictly Dress Uniform, National Dress, Evening Dress or Business Attire. Jeans, short trousers and sports shoes are not permitted.
Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in The Royal Gallery.
Whilst The Royal Gallery is covered, it remains open to the front, so we recommend bringing a warm layer. Tartan blankets are provided for your comfort during the show.
