Show FAQs
Our 2026 Show will take place Friday 7 to Saturday 29 August 2026.
We welcome children and we do not impose an age limit. Tickets for children are charged at full price, however, children of three years and under can be admitted free of charge and without a ticket providing they remain seated on an adult’s lap. Please be aware that the Show contains some loud noises throughout the performance, including special effects, which some young children may find upsetting.
Flypasts for our 2026 Show to be confirmed by the RAF.
The show content is the same at each performance during the 2026 Show. Monday to Friday the performance begins at 9:30pm and on Saturdays and Friday 28 August there is a show at 6:15pm and 9:30pm. The early performance tends to be more popular with families and gives a great view of the performers' costumes and formations, whereas, as the sky is darker in the evenings, the projections are bolder for the 9:30pm displays.
Acts for our 2026 Show include The German Army Band Koblenz, New Zealand Army Band, the Qatar Police Academy Band and Drill Team, and the United States Army Field Band. They will be joined by military bands, with Royal Air Force Musicians taking centre stage as part of this year Lead Service. Alongside fan favourites such as the Massed Pipes and Drums, Lone Piper and the Tattoo Performers showcasing the best of Scottish Traditional Arts.
