A Tattoo takeover down under in 2026
Want to stay updated with our plans for future tours?
In 2026, we presented The Heroes Who Made Us in Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium and Auckland’s Eden Park.
More than 1,000 performers from 15 nations came together in each location for a breathtaking production honouring the remarkable individuals who have shaped the Tattoo’s iconic performances over its 75-year history.
The line-up included UK Military Bands from the Royal Navy, The Army and Royal Air Force, Australia’s Federation Guard, His Majesty the King of Norway’s Guard Band and Drill Team, Japan Air Self-Defense Force Central Band, His Majesty’s Armed Forces, The Royal Corps of Musicians, Tonga, The Brisbane Boys’ College Pipe Band and our very own Tattoo Performers.
Brisbane
The four-night run marked the Tattoo’s return to Australia for the first time since 2019, when the Show was presented in Sydney. The first-ever performance in Brisbane, this tour down under was one of our most ambitious international Stadium productions to date. Blending the timeless traditions of the British Armed Forces with modern performance and world-class production, we continued to evolve, while remaining rooted in history.
The event in Brisbane was supported by the Queensland Government, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane City Council through Brisbane Economic Development Agency in partnership with Suncorp Stadium.
Auckland
Making our return to New Zealand for the first time since 2016, this was the Tattoo’s first-ever performance in Auckland. Cutting-edge lighting, immersive sound design and stunning visual imagery displayed on one of the largest LED screens in New Zealand elevated the performance experience, all set under the stars at New Zealand's National Stadium.
