A Tattoo Takeover of the Streets
The international cast took to the streets of Edinburgh as they marched up to Edinburgh Castle ahead of the 8th show of the 2026 run.
To celebrate A Call To Gather, the Tattoo cast of over 800 gathered in the on George IV Bridge in Edinburgh to march up to the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. The cast would usually arrive for the show by bus, but for one night only they marched through the festival crowds.
Those lining the streets were entertained by the sights and sounds of the Massed Pipes and Drums, RAF Musicians, German Army Band, United States Army Field Band, Qatar Police Academy Band and Drill Team and New Zealand Army Band.
