Trade Terms and Conditions
A Trade Agent may purchase up to a level of tickets (“Trade Ticket Allocation”) determined at sole discretion of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (hereafter referred to as “REMT”) with consideration given to the Trade Agent’s previous sales history of Tattoo tickets. Where the Trade Agent does not subsequently sell its full Trade Ticket Allocation to its customers by 22nd May 2026, no further Tattoo tickets for 2026 performances will be sold from REMT to the Trade Agent unless otherwise determined by REMT at its sole discretion.
If (and only if) a Trade Agent sells the full Trade Ticket Allocation by 22nd May 2026, the Trade Agent may then be permitted to purchase an additional number of tickets at the sole discretion of REMT. In these circumstances, a standard administration fee (determined by REMT) will apply to ALL tickets that are subsequently returned by the Trade Agent to REMT (irrespective of when they were purchased) and such administration fee will supersede any prior fee arrangement between REMT and the Trade Agent and will operate retrospectively for tickets purchased before, on or after 22nd May 2026.
All Tattoo tickets purchased by a Trade Agent will be subject to the following Resale Terms in respect of any tickets that are not successfully sold to customers:
RESALE TERMS
Tickets returned for resale by the following dates will not incur an administration fee and will be refunded in full:
- Band A to D tickets retuned to REMT before or on 22nd May 2026; and
- Premier Seats & Hospitality Packages returned to REMT before or on 1st April 2026
Tickets will be released back to general stock following confirmation of a return request from the Trade Agent. It should be noted that, ahead of the deadlines outlined above, REMT will request release or commitment to tickets where we are experiencing high demand and/or limited availability to avoid lost REMT sales. The Trade Agent undertakes to fulfil any reasonable request from REMT to release its tickets and/or confirm its commitment in writing as required.
In respect of tickets returned for resale after 22nd May 2026:
- Tickets will be released back to general stock at the sole discretion of REMT and a refund to the Trade Agent applied only where the tickets are subsequently resold successfully.
- A standard administration fee as determined by REMT’s payment terms will apply to any tickets successfully resold after this date.
Tickets will only be eligible for resale if returned by the Trade Agent in accordance with the timeline set out above. REMT cannot guarantee the resale of any tickets that are returned by the Trade Agent. Refunds will only be issued to the Trade Agent for returned tickets that are successfully resold by the Organiser. For the avoidance of doubt, any tickets not resold by REMT shall remain the liability and responsibility of the Trade Agent. For the avoidance of doubt, REMT shall not be liable for any refunds paid out to customers by the Trade Agent and/or tickets purchased in error through the Trade Agent.
REMT will email the Trade Agent detailing the status of any returned tickets and the outcome of resale efforts. Refunds for successfully resold tickets, less applicable administration fees where relevant, will be processed after the completion of the respective Tattoo performance, and by no later than 30th September 2026 following the Tattoo show run.
REMT may at any time void tickets posted for sale by the Trade Agent where they have been advertised for sale erroneously, duplicated or where there are reasonable grounds for REMT to suspect that the Trade Agent has posted counterfeit tickets or otherwise acted inappropriately and/or fraudulently.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with Scottish law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. Questions relating to Travel Trade Terms and Conditions should be emailed to trade@edintattoo.co.uk. These Terms and Conditions shall apply unless superseded by subsequent agreement between REMT and the Trade Agent.
