We are looking for Accessibility Stewards to deliver inclusive, high-quality customer service that supports diverse access needs and enhances the guest experience.

Duration:
This is a temporary position from 5 August to 29 August 2026. You will work a minimum of 38.5 hours per week, usually between 18:00–00:00 Monday to Friday and 15:30 – 00:00 on Saturdays. You may be required to work additional hours when needed. There may also be opportunities to work extra shifts during the Castle Concerts period (10–19 July 2026).
Job Purpose Summary:
To deliver inclusive, high-quality customer service that supports
diverse access needs and enhances the guest experience. Seeking
kind, patient, and articulate individuals with a passion for
accessibility and inclusive events.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to guests who have additional needs in a friendly and engaging way – including wheelchair pushing on ascent to the venue.
- Be able to confidently assist customers with varying levels of physical and mental conditions while maintaining a positive demeanour
- Provide support and assist with reseating guest(s) with accessibility needs.
- Confidently use radios to communicate with colleagues if necessary.
- Understand the security and safety plans and their role in it.
- Be familiar with the layout of the site and assist the audience by giving directions to facilities.
- Investigate any disturbances or incidents, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Deliver the Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) for access customers if applicable.
Essential Criteria:
- Have experience working with vulnerable individuals or people with additional needs.
- Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 75lbs or more.
- Have a professional and caring nature for the challenges faced by our customers with varying levels of physical and mental conditions.
- Have a positive demeanour – able to remain calm, helpful, and work well in a high pressure, high demand role.
- Over 18 years of age.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in theatre or other entertainment venues.
- Experience in a customer care environment or public facing role.
- Experience in healthcare or another carer role.
- First Aid Training.
