Electro Pipes Light Up Camera Obscura

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Performers - Electro Pipes - take time out from performing for Tattoo crowds to experience the colour, lights, and symmetry at Camera Obscura. A fresh addition to the Show line-up this year, the Electro Pipes blend the traditional instrument of the bagpipe with modern, electronic music, mixed with state-of-the-art projection and lighting.

Cultures come together as Tattoo cast warm up

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Dancers and performers from the New Zealand Army Band came together for an impromptu rehearsal, bringing together Maori and Highland cultures, at Edinburgh’s Calton Hill this morning.

First Minister attends this year's Voices Show with special guests from Ukraine

Over the weekend First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon attended The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Seated in the Royal Gallery, Ms Sturgeon was accompanied by a group of Ukrainian teenagers, currently residing in Scotland to take in the spectacle of this year’s Show, Voices.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Piper, Conner Pratt (Fife), Highland Dancer, Rosey Watt (MacDuff) and Drummer, Frazer Rankin (Dunbar), took to the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade at sunset to mark the completion of the Stand build, ready for this year’s much-anticpated Tattoo performances.
