Did you know that we have our own official tartans? The first was launched in 1983, followed by our Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Jubilee tartan launched in 2000 to mark our Golden Jubilee year. Our Jubilee tartan includes colours from the three British Armed Forces (red, blue and green) and black from Edinburgh’s heraldic coat of arms.
