The Royal Gallery Dining Experience

With fantastic views over both the City of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Gallery is a unique setting in which to relax and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner before the Tattoo performance. Self-confessed food fanatics, the team at award-winning Heritage Portfolio combine passion, creativity and culinary expertise to produce exquisite dishes packed with flavour using local, seasonal ingredients.

Following dinner, you will then  take your seats in The Royal Gallery section of the arena where you will join the evening’s Salute Taker, fellow Tattoo guests and dignitaries.

• A glass of sparkling wine on arrival
• Three-course set dinner with half a bottle of wine selected by the expert Heritage Portfolio wine sommelier, followed by coffee or tea, Scottish tablet and a dram of Scotch whisky
• A VIP seat in The Royal Gallery
• A Tattoo Gift and an official Tattoo Souvenir Show Programme
• An invitation to the post-show reception held in The Royal Gallery  – drinks and canapés provided

Please note, The Royal Gallery has a smart dress code. We ask that guests wear either national dress, uniform or business attire. Jeans, short trousers and sports shoes are not permitted. Whilst The Royal Gallery is under cover, it is open to the front, so we advise guests to dress warmly to protect themselves from the evening chill. 

Bookings for our hospitality experiences will be based on shared tables with other guests.
