Entrances and exits

The queue starts at Johnston Terrace, round The Hub, to the Castle Esplanade. Please follow instructions from the Police and security staff in attendance. They will do their best to ensure you get to the Tattoo safely and on time. Doors open approximately 45 minutes before the start of the performance, and you are requested to be seated 15 minutes before the performance begins.

Accessible seating

Wheelchair spaces are located at the front of Sections 1-5 and 12-17 and the top of Section 10. All ground floor sections are accessed via a ramp, and the top of Section 10 can be accessed via the lift. Prices include the admission of one able-bodied attendant.

Facilities exist for the positioning of wheelchairs along the front of Sections 1-5 and 12-17 as well as at the top of Section 10 facing Edinburgh Castle. A limited number of seats are available for those with restricted mobility in the front row of Sections 12-17 and only five steps from ground level.
