Musicians from Switzerland, Norway and Australia were among the sparkling line-up at 2012's Tattoo which wowed an audience of thousands.
As part of the 2012 international celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen's accession to the throne, the Tattoo's Diamond Jubilee themed production was Scotland's salute to the Monarch and acclaimed as one of the most impressive ever staged.

As ever, the programme included music, action and colour with a touch of the unexpected, where traditional items were matched by exciting new contributions to add to the Tattoo's long list of alluring attractions; all captured on the 2012 Tattoo DVD.
With state-of-the-art production technology which included 21st century surround sound, graphic illustrations and ultra-modern lighting, the 95-minute show - which also celebrated the Year of Creative Scotland - dazzled the Tattoo's global audience.
