When will my tickets and information arrive?

Royal Gallery tickets will be despatched in July 2017.

Tickets will be despatched only to the billing address of the named cardholder or held for collection anytime during office hours after 15 July 2016, by the named cardholder only, on presentation of the card used to make the transaction, at the Tattoo Ticket Sales Office, 1 Cockburn Street, Edinburgh.  The cardholder’s signature will be required before tickets are released.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for The Royal Gallery is evening wear/lounge suit. Denim and sports shoes are not permitted.  Although covered, The Royal Gallery is open to the front and it can become colder when the sun goes down so we would recommend you bring a warm coat to protect yourself from the evening chill.

There is no specifc dress code for guests attending packages which include a seat in the outdoor arena.  We do ask, however, that you respect the venue hosts and your fellow diners and dress accordingly.  We would suggest you check the weather forecast and dress for the weather conditions.  It should be noted that packages within Edinburgh Castle involve walking on steep inclines and uneven ground and flat shoes are recommended.

What time should I arrive for my package?

Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your package start time as entry will not be permitted until the time stated on your itinerary. If you arrive after the start time on your itinerary, we will do our very best to accommodate you but service may be compromised.

Doors to the arena open approximately 45 minutes before the start of the performance and guests must be seated 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

Can you cater for special dietary requirements?

All our venues can cater for special dietary requirements and we ask that you confirm these at least 48 hours in advance by emailing hospitality@edintattoo.co.uk or by telephone on  +44 (0) 131 225 1188.  On performance days the office is open from 10.00am until the start of the performance.

Are children allowed to join a package?

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is an event enjoyed by all ages. Children are most welcome to join our packages but there are no concession prices. Any alcoholic drinks will be substituted by soft drinks for those guests under 18 years of age.

All guests in The Royal Gallery must sit in their own seat and therefore a ticket must be purchased for every child.

Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you have any children in your party.

Are all drinks included in the package?

The package specifications outline which drinks will be included in your package. At most venues, if any additional drinks are required, these can be purchased from the venue.

What facilities are available for the disabled?

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is delighted to welcome people with disabilities. Please contact the Box Office directly on +44 (0) 131 225 1188 (Monday-Friday 10.00am until 4.30pm GMT) so that we can discuss your requirements with you. Alternatively, please email tickets@edintattoo.co.uk.
