Showcasing military and civilian music, dance and display from around the world, the success of the Tattoo enables us to make important donations to Services and Arts charities each year.

  • Ticket Sales Assistant

    Seasonal

    Based at the Tattoo HQ, you will work closely with the core team to support an audience of over 220,000 people arrange their visit to the spectacular event on the Castle Esplanade and other exciting activities while in Edinburgh. Customer service and attention to detail are key. Minimum 35 hours on a rota (likely to include weekends) 9am-5pm May-July and September-October then between 9am-11pm during August. Real living wage of £9.30/hour. May to end of August or October. Potential for a permanent role.

  • Retail Assistant

    Seasonal

    Based in the busy shop at the Tattoo HQ and occasionally the kiosk on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, you will work closely with the core team selling a wide range of stock. Customer service and attention to detail are key in this role. Minimum 35 hours on a rota (including weekends) between 8am-5pm (and 8am-11pm during August only). Real living wage of £9.30/hour. May, June and July starts through to September. Potential for a permanent role.

    Moving people and cargo across Edinburgh (and occasionally beyond) in support of the event. Working with the core team based at the Tattoo HQ, you will be moving between venues in a duty car. Successful candidates will know their way around Edinburgh, be well presented, proactive and friendly. A vehicle will be provided and for insurance purposes a clean driver’s licence is required.   • Liaison Officer

    A key position between a large international cast and the Production team, you will be completely immersed in the Tattoo experience for the month of August. We are looking for candidates with lots of energy, experience of working with groups and trouble-shooting, and able to combine excellent organisation with being an engaging host. To support your duties, we will provide you with food and accommodation during this time. On the basis that there is not a regular patter of working Liaison Officers receive a fixed amount and are not remunerated on an hourly basis. Late July to late August.
