'The Guest Box'

The 18 seat private guest box can be purchased on its own, allowing you to make your own arrangements for dinner.

VIP access can be arranged for your guests, who will arrive to be seated in the private guest box 15 minutes ahead of the Tattoo performance starting. A Champagne Lanson reception is served after the Tattoo performance; the perfect way to round off an unforgettable evening.

'The Edinburgh Castle Gatehouse'

The 18 seat private guest box can be purchased with a private pre-Tattoo function in the historic Gatehouse; the famous entrance of Edinburgh Castle. You will have private use of this building until the Tattoo show starts and it becomes a stage and backdrop for the performance.

You will be inviting your guests to begin their evening with an early evening champagne reception on the battlements of Edinburgh Castle, a spectacular vantage point which offers breathtaking views across the skyline of Scotland’s ancient capital city. A two course dinner will then be served in the beautiful wood panelled rooms of the Castle Gatehouse.

Shortly before the start of the Tattoo performance, you and your guests will be escorted over the same drawbridge that you see the famous Tattoo Bagpipes and Drums march across. In front of a full seated audience, your party will be led down the centre of the castle esplanade to your private guest box. A Champagne Lanson reception is served after the Tattoo performance.

'The Scotch Whisky Experience'

The 18 seat private guest box can be purchased with private dining in the Scotch Whisky Experience, a 5-star location next door to Edinburgh Castle which offers a traditional Scottish dining experience combining the enjoyment of Scotch Whisky.

Your guests will begin their evening in the elegant Castlehill Room with a champagne and whisky reception, guided by an expert whisky tutor. This will be followed by a spectacular three course meal prepared by the award winning team behind ‘Amber’ restaurant, served with accompanying fine wines.

Your meal will draw to a close shortly before the start of Tattoo performance, at which point you and your guests will be escorted on foot to your private guest box. A Champagne Lanson reception is served after the Tattoo performance.

'The Royal Yacht Britannia'

The 18 seat private Tattoo guest box can be purchased on weekday performance nights with a private function onboard the most famous ship in the world, and former home to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family.

Your guests will be piped aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia using the Royal Brow, an honour previously reserved for members of the Royal Family and Heads of State, and welcomed with a Champagne reception in the State Drawing Room.

You will then be escorted to the State Dining Room, a magnificent room lined with gifts and artefacts presented to the Royal Family around the world. A two course supper, prepared by the Royal Galley Chefs, will then be served with fine wines.

Transport will then take you to the Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle where you will be escorted to your private guest box. A Champagne Lanson reception is served after the Tattoo performance.

'The Royal Yacht Britannia Deluxe'

The 18 seat private Tattoo guest box can be purchased on Saturday performance evenings with a deluxe private function onboard the most famous ship in the world, and former home to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family.

Your guests will be piped aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia using the Royal Brow, an honour previously reserved for members of the Royal Family and Heads of State, and welcomed with a Champagne and canapé reception in the State Drawing Room.

You will then be escorted on a tour around the Royal Apartments before being shown to the State Dining Room for a two course supper, prepared by the Royal Galley Chefs, and served with fine wines. During dinner you will be accompanied by the beautiful soft tones of the pedal harp.

If you are attending the 7.30pm Tattoo performance, a Champagne Lanson reception is served after the Tattoo performance. Thereafter, transport will be provided to the Royal Yacht Britannia where your function onboard will take the latter part of the evening.

If you are attending the 10.30pm Tattoo performance, your function onboard the Royal Yacht Britannia will take place in the early evening, followed by coach transfer to your private guest box at the Tattoo. The 10:30pm Saturday Tattoo performance completes at midnight with a short fireworks display, during which a Champagne Lanson reception will be served.

'National Museum of Scotland - Boardrooms'

The 18 seat private guest box can be purchased for the 7:30pm Saturday evening performances with a post-Tattoo private dinner being held in the Boardrooms of the National Museum of Scotland. The Board Room has arguably the best view of Edinburgh Castle in the city and enjoys magnificent perspective over Edinburgh's historic Old Town. Guests also have access to the private Roof Terrace which is open to the starry sky of Edinburgh and has panoramic views across the roof-tops.

Your guests will begin their evening in a private guest box at the Tattoo, followed by a champagne Lanson reception. Coach transfers will then be provided to the Museum, where your guests will be welcomed and piped to the Board Room for a delectable 2 course supper, prepared by the award winning Tower Restaurant and served with exquisite wines. The evening will come to a close at midnight, with drinks being served on the Roof Terrace, while your guests enjoying superb views of the Tattoo's midnight fireworks.

This package includes coach transfers and VIP access. A private tour of your chosen Museum gallery is also included in this package.
